Death Road ride to Coroico
What do we have to do ?
Back to La Paz, we saw in our guide that some bike ride exists. As I did many years BMX and Ramp Ride, and moreover this was a good solution to discover La Paz area.
And what happend...
We all meet early on the morning in well know hotel on La Paz main street. Then we took a bus up to La Paz top.(over 4800m).
We received good bikes, and try them a few, then lets go for a trip from 4800m to 1700m, for about 50 km.
At a look to view point, breath a few, and let's go
First km are on easy road, and you can speed up really fast.
Then a arrived to called "Death Road", on this road, you have to drive on the left (everywhere else you drive on the rigth)
At this point you also have to inflate wheels, as pressure changes a lot between 4800m and 1700.
Another view point, you don't really see you already down...
A few stop for team, cause lack of oxygen...
All the road is like this, and I tell you one more time you drive on the left...
Arrived to Coroico, have a beer with all group, 10s tourists like us, have I remember a really good time with many people from all over the world.
