La Paz, 3700m.

What do we have to do ?

Before arriving, we had decided 2 ways, depending of health because of the higth. We get troubles in El Alto, the airport 4200 higth, but going down to La Paz help us. So we took a bus to Uyuni.

And what happend...

After 28 hours plane, 2 hours for going to La Paz bus station, we leave for more than 10 hours of bus....what a trip.... We arrived first in Oruro where we meet many people like us. We changed bus, then restart again, now road was really inconfortable. We arrived early in the morning, 4-5 AM. Has to wait. We meet other people like us, some French too. And 5 hours later, we have found a 4WD for 4 days trip in Uyuni's Salar. Let's go !

Following picture, is a typical La Paz street (in fact this seems the same for all poor countries). First floor building are shop, and the second pavement side(nearest of the road) is full of "unofficial" little shops, specialised in some goods (Cigarets or battery or anything). This makes those countries very alive.
